Story Behind Knife:
Invented by Spencer Frazer, the Twitch features a pass-through lock bar from which the "kick" of the blade sticks through. By pressing on the "kick", one is able to initiate the opening of the blade. SOG Assisted Technology (S.A.T.TM) then takes over to assist the full opening and solid lock up of the knife.

S.A.T. - SOG Assisted Technology
SOG Assisted Technology: It's Seriously Addictive
S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology) is the brainchild of SOG Knives founder Spencer Frazer, who "had this feeling that I could devise a whole new technology to help open a knife blade quickly." Unlike switchblades, which can get hung up in loose clothing or not fully open, SOG S.A.T. knives give you control over blade access because your thumb rests on a stud on either side of the blade. The blade propels out when you initiate the ambidextrous one-handed opening action.
The motion is slick, smooth, and highly addictive.
